Hey, Dolphin Families!

BIG Happy Father's Day wishes to all our Deerfield Dads!!

Yesterday's Divisional Meet was awesome!!  We had many dropped times, some super close races, and another team record smashed!  HUGE shout out to Dumebi Obi for her swim in event #49 - Girls 10&U 100yd IM setting new team record with 1:19.26!!!  This broke team record of 1:19.39 on the books since 2011 held by Hadley Krummel.  Great Job again!!  We ended up with 4th place in the Division, which is truely outstanding when considering the size of some teams we swim against. Deerfield is certainly #1 for swimming with heart and passion and embracing the community swimmer!!  Cant miss the huge congrats to our Coaches for their relay race.  YALL ROCK!  And thank you former Coach Hadley for helping out.  That was so fun!!

I look forward to celebrating this season with you on Thursday the 22nd.  We will have our program from 6-7pm followed by pool party from 7-9pm.  We will also have a short, casual "parents only" town hall in clubhouse following the program.  Parents, we would love for you to come chat with the Board and Coaches to provide feedback and learn more about swim team opportunities.  

Lastly, Good luck next weekend our Red/White/Blue and Ponderosa Invitational swimmers!!!  Remember, practice next week is only for those going to these invitationals.
