Great Job today, Dolphins and parents!!!!  

We have many new people learning new roles and we were down a few key roles today.  All I can say is Deerfield parents know how to step up and show up!!!

We had 3 new officials on deck, large number of new timers/scribes, an amazing group making concessions/grilling happen, and many of our "old faithfuls" getting the job done!! I can not say thank you enough.  I feel like I say it all the time, but it really does take a village and Deerfield does so like NO OTHER!!!  

Best part of all is that our swimmers ROCKED today!! So many dropped times!!  Coach Neumann is so proud of all of you!!  

I think I said last year that I would pick a "Volunteer of the Meet" each week this season --- this is just too hard to decide today because everyone did just great!!  So, stay tuned for next week's meet!

Now more about next week....

• For those that missed time trials or did not get a time for all events, I will be at all practices Monday and Tuesday this week and we will get times for swimmers that need them.  
• For those parents that were not able to fulfill a volunteer slot, please be aware with a bye week this season, that is one less meet to meet your commitment.  It is always a good rule of thumb to link your volunteering to your swimmer's attendance.  If you swimmer is at a meet -- you should volunteer too!  
• Lastly, another reminder for our swimmers to wear their Dolphin swim caps at each meet.  Everyone has one, the new design is cool,  and there is no better way to show off your Dolphin spirit!!  Plus, swimmers will win a brownie point with Coach Neumann!!
