Good afternoon, Deerfield Dolphins!!!

What a meet at Copperfield yesterday!  I saw so many great swims and lots of first places!  Unfortunantly we did not pull of another win!  They were simply a much larger team!  But Deerfield swimmers still have much to be proud of.  I know many took off significant time and hit new personal bests.  WELL DONE DOLPHINS!!!

Final Score was COPP 837.5     DFV 620.5

We missed Coach Cassie -- but Assistant Coaches Morgan and Avery rocked it!! Coach Morgan handled business side with scratches and changes and Coach Avery with hugs, high fives and group chats!  THANK YOU BOTH!!!

This week leads us to our LAST dual meet of the season on Saturday.  We are at home and swimming with Lakes of Eldridge.  Be sure you mark your swimmer's attendance by 8pm on TUESDAY evening.  Also, while there, be sure you sign up for your volunteer shift.  Home meets always require more spots to help, so please sign up by TUESDAY at 8pm!!  We will be reaching out to those that do to fill spots.  

Sunday is the Pentathalon Invitational.  We would love to have a strong Deerfield presence there.  It is a fun meet.  If you are interested or to learn if your swimmer qualifies, I encourage you to talk to Jennifer Endicott or Kat Mona.  

This week is the first full week of morning practices.  See schedule of times on the website.  Remember the Tuesday/Thursday evening practices are ONLY for those swimmers that will not be able to attend morning practices.
