HOWDY DEERFIELD DOLPHINS!!

I wanted to send one -- kinda long -- email with tons of information in it. So please read thru and reach out if you have questions.

First, we have a new treasurer, Betsy Ramirez, and we are so happy to have her in this role.  Thank you, Melanie, for your assistance the last couple years and look forward to still seeing you poolside.  I may have mentioned this before, but we also have 2 new DVST board members -- Lisa Griffin (Sponsorship and Fundraising) and Magalie Sikora (Concessions).  Thank you both for your efforts - they are appreciated.

We are looking for anyone interested in being an official.  Please contact for more information about this role. We are also still accepting applicants for our assistant coach role to work with Coach Cassie.  Contact her or me if you know someone!!

That should cover the housekeeping items, now on to the fun stuff:

• MEET THE COACH - Friday March 27 at 6pm
  So many things going on here ---  See Coach Cassie.  Order suits and gear from D&J.  Check out the suit swap.  Silent Auction for parking space and private session with Coach.  Learn more about summer league swim.  Ask questions.  Kickoff Calendar fundraiser.   Visit with friends and neighbors. Grab a slice of pizza.  
• REGISTRATION IS OPEN!  Help us reach our goal of 100 swimmers by MTC.  We will have a drawing and giveaways for those that help achieve the goal!!  If you cannot get registered before MTC, please be sure to register by APRIL 8th to guarentee your swimmer gets a team shirt.  Registration remains open until Time Trials.  Questions about registration --- please ask.  Encourge new friends to join/  Dont forget to ask those that have taken a year or so off to come back and not miss out on the fun!!!
• PRACTICE STARTS APRIL 15th! There was a small time modification to the practice schedule so be sure to check out the website for times.  Time Trials is MAY 2nd!  And our first meet is at HOME vs Lakes of Eldridge on MAY 9th.  
• DVST Merchadise store is up and running.  There are cute options for the whole family.  Tshirts, tank tops, towels, hats, etc.  Grandma/Grandpa, Mom/Dad options too!  And your purchase helps earn Deerfield some $$!  Link to shop is https://stores.inksoft.com/deerfield_dolphins/shop...
• Concessions money will look a little different this year.  There will be a seperate table for purchasing food tickets at home meets.  Then you will use tickets to purchase food items at concessions.  We will be offering discounted ticket bundles at Meet the Coach.  
• There is still time to help us get new sponsors for this season.  Please ask at work and the places you give your business to in the area.  For sponsorship forms, please reach out to Lisa Griffin.  They were sent in previous email from me as well.
