Volunteering:

GREAT job to all of our awesome volunteers! A special thank you goes to our hardworking concessions team including Stephanie Johnson, Khristine Burton, Larry Guiberteax, Arthur McDanel and all of the helpers! Not only do they provide many options but the food is delicious! Concessions helps keep our costs down so we thank you again for all the hard work. The team benefits from the excellent proceeds!

Other notable volunteers include Chris Kokinakis for set up and tear down, Carlos and Stacy for computers, Klaus Buschbom for head timer and Scott Bivens for DJ. We have the best music in NWAL!

Many others helped out in several ways! I have been asked several times about volunteer hours. We require that your family sign up for 4 shifts per season. That is probably the least in the league so when needs arise, please just step up and help out. We are not keeping track of additional hours.as it is too much work to keep everything even. Volunteering is the way to get involved and meet others!

Times:

Note the results have the Invitational time standards from last year. These times might change just a bit as we haven't seen the time standards for this year. What do the time standards (at the top of each event number) mean? We attend two main Invitationals June 23-25, Ponderosa and Red White and Blue. If you beat the PI time it means you qualified for Ponderosa. If you beat the BL time or RD time it means that you qualified for Red White and Blue. If you HAVE qualified at any point in the season, you can go in and click YES on the RSVP if you are able to attend. These meets are a big honor and you should attend if you qualify! It will be like a regular swim meet and we will have coaches attending and the team will be entered. If you have any questions don't hesitate to reply to this email.

Clinic with the Olympian:

Wednesday, May 17th, there is a clinic with Olympian Scott Spann from 4-6pm. Cost is $40 at the door. Please sign up on the RSVP button. All are free to watch and come purchase a t shirt for $20. Scott will be autographing and posing for pictures after the workshop. Swimmers participating in the water are $40 at the door.

Next week we are AWAY against Jersey Village.
