Details for our first swim meet!!
Hello Dolphins! We are excited about our first home meet vs. the Bridgelands! Let’s all pull together to stick to this timeline so that we can beat the rain!
Today—Regular practice and set up from 6:30-7:30pm poolside.
Tomorrow:
6:15am—set up (if you signed up)
6:45-7am—check in with clerk of course (new procedure—form a line, no table) and parent volunteers check in as well
7:10-7:40—warm up
7:45—scratch swimmers based on check in
8:10—timer and scribe and parent supervisor meetings (for both shifts)
8:15—team cheer
8:20—events 1-6 head to the ready bench
8:30—meet starts
11:30-12—shift two after event 39
2:30—tear down (everyone helps!)
The Psych Sheet is attached. Feel free to print it as we will not sell heat sheets. New parents, this is a meet program but keep in mind there will be changes tomorrow. After everyone checks in we will scratch the swimmers who are not in attendance to speed things up.
Invitationals--The times at the top of each event are for the Invitational meets at the end of the season. If your child swims faster than any of those respective standards, they will be invited to that meet. Just ask a seasoned swimmer if you have questions.
